How we collect, use, share, retain, and let you control your personal and voice data.

Who we are

Patientdesk AI, Inc. (“we”) is the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy request or question, contact info@joinvoicedata.com.

What we collect

  • Account & profile: name, date of birth, country, languages, equipment.
  • Voice recordings and the biometric information derived from them — including a voiceprint. This is sensitive / special-category data and is the core of what we process.
  • Transcripts, annotations, and quality metrics derived from recordings.
  • Consent records: agreement version, a hash of the exact text you signed, timestamps, signature name, IP, and user-agent.
  • Contact & payout data: phone number, email, and payout/identity details handled by our payout providers.
  • Network & approximate location signals: the country your requests come from (derived from your IP address), the network operator (ASN) and its type (for example mobile carrier or hosting/VPN provider), and whether these match the country on your profile. See “Location & network integrity checks” below.

How we use it and our legal basis

We use your data to operate the platform, pay you, and to build, train, evaluate, and license AI voice datasets and models — including speech recognition, text-to-speech, and synthetic/cloned voice — and to reproduce, license, sell, and transfer these to third parties, as set out in the upload agreement you accept before contributing.

Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you and our legitimate interests in building and licensing datasets, with your explicit consent as the basis for processing your biometric (voice) data. [Counsel to finalize the legal-basis mapping.]

Location & network integrity checks

Because buyers of our datasets rely on accurate speaker metadata, we verify that the location on your profile is truthful. While you are signed in, we evaluate these signals on your requests and keep one summarized record per day: the country your requests come from (derived from your IP address), the network operator (ASN) and a coarse classification of it (residential, mobile carrier, or hosting/VPN provider), and whether these are consistent with the country on your profile. Later requests on the same day update that record only when they add or strengthen a signal. We store these derived signals in the daily record, not your full IP address.

We use these signals to prevent fraud and to verify stated locations before work is accepted or paid; inconsistencies lead to human review, never to automated rejection. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and keeping dataset metadata accurate. [Counsel to confirm the legitimate-interest assessment.]

Daily records are automatically deleted about 180 days after collection. Location summaries attached to specific work records (for example a submission’s country snapshot) follow the general retention terms above. If you request erasure, we delete the daily records and clear the location fields on your work records.

Who we share it with

We use vetted subprocessors to run the service — including cloud hosting and database, object storage, transcription/audio-QA, conversation recording, payouts and identity verification, email, and analytics providers. Each is bound by a data processing agreement. We also license datasets that may include your voice to AI labs as described in your agreement.

International transfers & retention

Where we transfer data outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We retain your data until the purpose of collection is fulfilled or as otherwise permitted or required by law. [Counsel to finalize specific retention terms.]

Your rights & how to delete your data

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the CCPA), you have rights to access, correct, delete, and port your data, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict processing. You can withdraw from taking new work at any time.

When you request erasure, we delete the raw voice recordings we still hold and remove the identifiers that link the remaining data to you. Some records are kept in de-identified form, or as required by law (for example, financial and tax records), and datasets already licensed to third parties are governed by the irrevocable grant in your agreement and cannot be recalled — though we will stop including you in future datasets and forward your request to recipients where required.

You can delete your account yourself: sign in, open Account from the profile menu, and use Delete your account. That form shows any unpaid credit balance before you confirm, so nothing is given up by accident. If a payout of yours is already in progress we record the request straight away and finish or cancel that payout first.

To exercise any other right, or if you cannot sign in, email info@joinvoicedata.com. We answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
